General Wellness Use

Water Reminder is a general wellness utility for hydration habit tracking, reminders, history, statistics, widgets, and optional Health Connect hydration synchronization.

Water Reminder is not medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

User Estimates

Hydration amounts are user estimates. Cup, bottle, and custom quantities may be approximate. Statistics and progress depend on the data available in the app.

Reminders

Reminders are intended as gentle prompts. Android settings, notification permissions, battery behavior, time changes, and device manufacturer behavior may delay, suppress, or remove notifications.

Health Connect

Health Connect is optional and Android-only. Availability, permissions, data accuracy, and sync behavior depend on Android Health Connect, user permissions, and other apps.

Local Data and Backups

Water Reminder stores core app data locally. Local data can be lost if the app is uninstalled, device storage is cleared, the device is lost, or backups are unavailable.

Optional Diagnostics

The in-app diagnostics setting controls optional Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics collection. Hydration records and Health Connect data are not intentionally included in telemetry.

Acceptable Use

Do not misuse Water Reminder, attempt to bypass platform permissions, use the app to harm others, or use exports in a way that violates privacy or law.

Future Features

These terms may be updated before introducing advertising, premium features, cloud sync, accounts, AI features, or additional third-party SDKs.

Warranty and Liability

Water Reminder is provided as-is and as-available. To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss, missed reminders, or reliance on app data.
